Celine is incredibly energetic and doing tons of good work in her community. It has certainly been a blessing to be in this club and to be a part of Rotary to meet such passionate members!

Delicate Arch is one of the most iconic natural structures in the World. On this night, I was able to capture it with its alignment with the moon and center of our Milky Way Galaxy. To put the distances into perspective, the moon is only 1.3 light second from Earth, but the center of our galaxy is 25,000 light years away.
Coffee With a Rotarian
A natural part of Rotary is the networking and the fellowship you get out of meeting other Rotarians. Coffee With a Rotarian is a monthly program of our club where we match participating club members for one-on-one virtual (or in some cases in person) coffee meetings, so they can learn more about each other. This program is organized by member Tzviatko Chiderov.
This week we have Ferheen from Santa Clara, CA, USA reporting on a chat with Brian from Corralitos, CA, USA.
I had the pleasure of meeting Brian and his 10 year old daughter Siena for this month's CWAR! Let me just say, if you all have never met Siena, she's the cutest thing I have ever seen!!! Brian and I got to chat about our mutual love of nature as well as our life paths. He has many doctors in his family so he knows all too well what my medical school journey is going to be like. I learned that him and his family took a trip to the Philippines and Siena showed me an anklet that she got from there. We talked about my time in Japan, from bowing deer to the Zao Fox Village I visited, as well as how he became a trial lawyer. I also found out that Brian grew up with cats until he came home from college and learned he was allergic! Oh no!! But how great is it that the past 3 of my CWARs have all been with cat lovers. Tzviatko, I want to keep this cat loving streak going!! Lol. I'm looking forward to seeing Brian and his family at the next Chili Cookoff this year!

February 2019 Club Announcements
"Hi! Do you have any questions about the club?" - The New Facebook Chatbot on Main Pages. If you have visited any of our non-meeting pages in the past few days, you'll notice that we now have a Facebook Chatbot active on our site. This is one of our new initiatives to try to convert more prospective leads into members, as well as to increase interaction between guests and our club. Messages will be responded to by our social media team. Please note this messenger chat isn't designed for club members. Members, if you still want to contact someone, please direct your notices to the email of the member or the officer you want to reach.
2019 Homepage Refresh! After hearing feedback from members, the webmasters can now say that we have finally gotten around to updating the main hero image on the homepage into something that we believe better represents the global and the digital nature of our club. We'll be periodically changing the graphic throughout the year, as we continue to refresh different parts of our site.
Join page updated! The webmaster team has done a much-needed facelift for the Join page. The start of a new year is the perfect time to share with friends and colleagues our Join page!
Weekly Meeting Disqus Reactions Updated. Did you know you can leave a reaction for each of our weekly meetings now? Right above the comments for a weekly meeting, you'll now find four different reactions you can vote for. We've also added some comment policy, and are working on fine-tuning a few other pieces to the comments and the meetings.

Happy Dollars: Do Good by Sharing Something Good
Each week we ask our members to share stories with the club and toss in a few dollars to support our efforts. The primary goal of this section is to provide a fun way of getting to know each fellow members and guests, while giving back to a good cause.
Happy dollars is an opportunity to share something positive that has happened in your life whether it is personal or business. Think of it as your opportunity to brag a little, but also put a little bit into a karma jar. The money donated through happy dollars is put to charitable use, and the message that you leave for happy dollars will be posted in our online meeting the following week for the entire week for folks to see! (Pending that it’s appropriate!)Here are the happy dollars contributions from last week!This section is usually updated on the early hours of Saturday, so contributions made over the weekend may not be listed here.

Speaker: Celine Neal
Every week we bring to you a new program on innovation, entrepreneurship, and education, and how those contribute to service to others. Special thanks to member Roger Plested for leading our club's Programs Committee in finding us amazing speakers each week.
Celine Neal is a technician at Belize Electricity Limited in Belize, where she creates designs and cost estimate in the Transmission and Distribution Department. She graduated from the University of Belize with an associate’s degree in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in 2015. After graduating she worked at Santander Sugar Group for a year as an assistant supervisor in the Cane Mills Department. She is currently studying Computer Engineering (online) at Galen University. This year she is fully focusing on her studies and has transferred to University of Quintana Roo, Mexico to complete a degree in Energy Systems Engineering.She has been a member of the club since 2018. She recently arranged a mini grant.Please turn up the volume of your computer to hear the speaker.
