Who Are We

We are the Rotary eClub of Silicon Valley, a non-profit organization that brings together community leaders to take action to better our communities through service. We also love having fun and eating!

As a Rotary eClub, we are a little different from some of the traditional Rotary Clubs that you might know: we hold our weekly meetings online through Google Hangouts. These recorded sessions include a guest speaker with an innovative and inspiring program for the week. We understand not everyone can make these live recordings, so we post the recordings online every Monday for anyone to watch and attend our online meeting.

Most of our members are based in the Silicon Valley near or in the San Francisco bay area. We also have members abroad from Canada to South Africa, who while don’t live in the Silicon Valley, have interests or ties directly to the Silicon Valley.

Our members are leaders in their local communities, and have all volunteered their time to become part of a bigger organization of leaders doing service to better the world: Rotary.

While we hold our meetings online, we also have social events and service events in-person throughout the San Francisco bay area on a regular basis. Come join us for our monthly social events, or for one of our service projects!

The best way to learn more about us is really to attend one of our online meetings. It’s free and takes about 35 minutes. You can start by clicking on the “Current Meeting” link in the top navigation.

Grow Professionally & Thrive

Our members are the lifeblood of our club, and that’s why we are always growing the number of services and benefits we provide to our members. Our club members have exclusive access to an annual leadership development grant that reimburses them for attending leadership development events such as Rotary conferences, training events, and conventions. We want our members to grow professionally and to thrive. Come join us!

Impact Your Local Community

If you join our club, we will provide you with the tools and resources you need to support you in making a difference in your local community, wherever in the world that might be. From connecting you with local Rotary clubs in your area to helping you create partner service projects by providing mini service grants, becoming a member of the Rotary eClub of Silicon Valley means you’ll join a worldwide family of service-minded activists, community leaders, and change-makers.

Be Mobile & Still Connected

One of the unique features of our Rotary club is that we are an eClub. This means that our weekly meetings are conducted online. No matter where your life takes you, you’ll be able to always attend a meeting as long as you are able to get high-speed internet connection. We also work hard to provide our membership with a feeling of community by hosting regular online socials, as well as monthly in-person meetup events in the San Francisco bay area.

Message from the President

Welcome to the website of the Rotary eClub of Silicon Valley!
Every week we provide new curated meetings on entrepreneurship, education, innovation, and humanitarian work. Thanks for visiting our website! If this is your first time here, I would strongly recommend you click on “Current Meeting” link at the top navigation of our website. Once on that page, you will find our meeting for the week. We release a new meeting every Monday morning (Pacific Time / Silicon Valley Time). It takes about 45 to 60 minutes to complete one of our meetings. Our goal is that at the end of the meeting, you feel more inspired. And leave a comment at the bottom of the meeting, so we know you were here!
-Mitty Chang
President of the Rotary eClub of Silicon Valley

About Our Meetings

Every week our meeting features ideas and messages that are carefully curated to educate and inspire you, our audience.

Our meetings are released every Monday at 1 AM Pacific Time. These meetings are designed so that you can read and participate them anytime during the week at your own leisure.

The entire meeting takes about 35 minutes to complete, with the week’s program video recording being the bulk of the time. There is no login required to attend one of our online meetings. You can also read our online meeting using your favorite device. Feel free to take our meeting on the go with you — read it while on public transit, waiting in line for coffee, or even at the park if you’d like!

Give it a go by clicking on “Current Meeting” link at the top navigation.
