Message from our President
Welcome our members, fellow Rotarians, friends, and guests. Thanks for joining our weekly meeting!
I am happy to share at the last minute that our fundraising project for Hunger Awareness was able to surpass our goal in the final hours after this weeks recording. Congratulations ECSV, we did it! More details next week
WEEKLY FUNNY WITH SHAGS
We believe laughter is an important part of life, and we should all make time to laugh a little. This segment of our meeting is meant to tickle you just enough. These funnies are curated by member Steven "Shags" Shagrin!
Sliced Ham
A new wife prepared to bake a ham to celebrate their first Christmas together. She carefully cut off each end of the ham before placing it in the pan.
Her husband asked her why she did that and she replied, "I don't know, it's what my mother always did. But I can ask her."
She called Mom, who responded, "I always saw your Grandma do it, so I did the same."
They decided to check further, so the young woman called Grandma, who explained, "It was the only way I could get it to fit into my pan."
INSPIRATION
We've shared this before, but the story from World War I at the center of this Sainsbury's ad from 2014 is likely something we can all celebrate, especially with the world as it is at the moment.

PROGRAM: A High School Robotics Club
SPEAKER: Team 3482 Arrowbotics
We bring you a new program every week on innovation, entrepreneurship, and education and how they contribute to service to others.
Team 3482 Arrowbotics is an entirely student-led after-school robotics club based out of Westmont High School in Campbell, California. The team competes in FIRST Robotics Competitions against hundreds of other teams with a robot they build in just 8-10 weeks. Members join the club with little to no experience, and by the time the robot needs to be designed, these students are skilled in engineering, communication, and problem-solving.
Mia is the Vice President of Westmont Arrowbotics. She is a Junior at Westmont High School and has been on the team for three years.
Members and guests, please welcome Mia of Team 3482 Arrowbotics!
