Message from our President
Greetings Members and Friends of Rotary e-Club of Silicon Valley. As the new incoming President of our Club, I want to welcome you all today.

A Call to Animal Welfare
I called Animal Welfare today and said, "I've just found a suitcase in the woods containing four kittens."
“That's terrible," she replied, "Are they moving?”
“I'm not sure, to be honest," I said, " but if they were that would explain the suitcase.”

ROTARY SERVICE PROJECT OPPORTUNITY IN MEXICO
Charter member Keith Marsh is organizing a Rotary project to Project Amigo in October for the “Day of the Dead” (Dia de los Muertos). The week-long trip to Cofradia, Mexico will include Rotary Service in the areas of International Service, Youth Service and Fellowship. It will also include cultural and travel photography of the festivities surrounding Day of the Dead. Space is limited. HAPPY DOLLARS: Do Good by Sharing Something Good
Each week we ask our members to share stories with the club and toss in a few dollars to support our efforts. The primary goal of this section is to provide a fun way of getting to know each fellow members and guests, while giving back to a good cause.
Happy dollars is an opportunity to share something positive that has happened in your life whether it is personal or business. Think of it as your opportunity to brag a little, but also put a little bit into a karma jar. The money donated through happy dollars is put to charitable use.

Today we thank Immediate Past President Angelica for her work in '22-'23, and welcome President Nick and his plans for '23-'24.
President Nick is excited to bring his leadership to the eClub while continuing the initiatives set forth under Immediate Past President Angelica's guidance. Nick wants to continue to grow the eClub community and support additional connections with our club members, district, and communities.
Nick LaGarde is an Account Director at Cloud for Good where he helps nonprofits use Salesforce to make the most of their mission of helping others.
